Concert at Gyöngyöspata
On Sunday 27th June, beginning at 4:00 pm (Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, Gyöngyöspata, Fő út 61) the Gabrieli Choir will be giving a concert of English sacred music spanning over three hundred years. Movements from the Mass in the Dorian Mode by Howells will be interspersed with a selection of the Spirituals from Tippett’s A Child of Our Time. There will also be Purcell, and organ music recalling Thomas Tallis by Howells.
