The Gabrieli Choir

The Gabrieli Choir sings at an Anglican wedding!

The Gabrieli Choir is delighted to be singing at an Anglican wedding on Saturday, 29th May.

A mixture of English and Hungarian sacred music has been carefully chosen to reflect the different backgrounds of the betrothed couple. It includes works by Purcell, Bairstow and Kodály, as well as a psalm and a hymn, and organ voluntaries – played by the Gabrieli Choir’s resident organist, László Gesztesi-Tóth – by Bach, Pachelbel and Gigout.

Naturally, the wedding service is open to invited guests only, but it is hoped photographs of the event can be added to the choir’s website in due course.
