Anna has lived in Budapest
for 9 years, having moved here in 2000 with her Hungarian husband from New York. She is British
and sang in school, county youth and university choirs in England and Scotland from the age of 8. While
in the US, she sang in the all
female Cornell Chorus and, in New York
City, a Russian choir and a student-run chamber choir.
Anna first sang Hungarian music with the Teachers’ Choir based at the Kodaly
Institute in Kecskemet.
She also plays the piano and viola. She is delighted to have recently joined the
Gabrieli Choir after a break from singing of 9 years while at home taking care
of her two young children.
