The Gabrieli Choir

Kati Szebenyi

Kati Szebenyi

Kati has been playing on oboe and singing for almost 10 years, she went to high school at the Zoltan Kodály Hungarian Choir School where she was a member of the girl’s choir “Jubilate”. Kati is particularly attracted to the English language and culture, she spent a school-year in Bristol and now she studies English and French language and literature at the Eötvös Lóránd University of Budapest (ELTE).

Most of her spare time is devoted to music as she attends two choirs, besides Gabrieli Choir she also sings in Albert Schweitzer Choir of Peter and Paul Church in Óbuda. She still attends oboe and chamber music classes on a weekly basis. Kati has begun to familiarize with Estonian folk dance for a 6 months which she enjoys a lot.
