The Gabrieli Choir will perform a programme of music for Lent. The programme is the following:

  • Thomas Tallis (c.1515-1585) – When Rising From the Bed of Death
  • Orlande di Lassus (c.1532-1594) – Super Flumina Babylonis
  • Richard Farrant (?-1580) – Call to Remembrance
  • Orlando Gibbons (1583-1625) – Drop, Drop Slow Tears
  • William Byrd (c.1540-1623) – Ave Verum Corpus
  • Robert Whyte (c.1538-1574) – Lamentations
  • Orlando Gibbons & Sir Edward Bairstow (1874-1946) – Jesu, Grant Me This I Pray
  • Samuel Sebastian Wesley (1810-1876) – Wash Me Throughly
  • Sir John Stainer (1840-1901) – God So Loved the World
  • John Sanders (1933-2003) – The Reproaches
