Upcoming concerts in 2008

The Gabrieli Choir is pleased to announce the dates of its concerts and other engagements for the remainder of 2008.
Our concert in September, in the Zugló district of Budapest, takes place in a fine church where we have been made most welcome before. The programme features pieces intended for a range of different seasons in the Church’s calendar, and whose period of composition spans over four hundred years.
Our engagements in November and December offer our friends a rare chance to hear us perform in the context in which the choir’s repertoire was originally intended to be heard, that is, within the Anglican liturgy. With us already enjoying a fruitful relationship with Budapest’s Anglican community, we are delighted to have been invited to lead them in worship first on their patronal festival and then as they prepare for Christmas.
