A Capella Christmas Concert

The Gabrieli Choir and Gemma Choir will together be performing a Christmas concert of a cappella music at the Szent Ferenc sebei templom (Budapest I, Fő u. 43) on Thursday, 15th December beginning at 19:30.

Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

2011-10-22 (update the 2012-01-11)

The Gabrieli Choir will once again be combining forces with the “Exsultate” Boys’ Choir from the Zoltán Kodály choir school to celebrate Christmas with Budapest’s Anglican Community in time-honoured fashion. The service this year will take place at St Columba’s Presbyterian Church (Budapest VI, Vörösmarty u. 51) at 6 pm on Friday, 16th December.

Autumn Concert: Hungarian premiere of Will Todd's "Mass in Blue"

2011-05-07 (update the 2012-01-11)

The choir’s next concert will take place at the Belvárosi Szent Mihály templom (Budapest, Váci u. 47/b) on Sunday, 2nd October at 19:00, and will in particular feature Will Todd’s exciting “Mass in Blue”, complete with jazz trio and a soprano jazz singer soloist.

The Gabrieli Choir and "Lux Aeterna" to perform Bach's "St John Passion"

2011-02-04 (update the 2012-01-11)

The Gabrieli Choir will be combining with the “Lux Aeterna” Budapest Bach Consort (director: Augustin Szokos) to perform J.S.Bach’s masterpiece this coming April.

Joint concert with Princeton University Chapel Choir

2011-01-10 (update the 2012-01-11)

The Gabrieli Choir will shortly be joined by Princeton University Chapel Choir (USA) for a joint concert on Saturday, 29th January (19:30), at the Terézvárosi templom, Pethő Sándor u. 2 (Budapest, VI. district).
