5th anniversary concerts

The Gabrieli Choir will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of its re-founding with concerts on consecutive days: Saturday 6th November, 2010 (time to be confirmed) at Saint Adalbert’s Church (Belvárosi templom), Hatvan, Kossuth tér 6; and Sunday 7th November, 2010, 7.30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit (Herminamezői Szentlélek templom), Budapest, XIV., Kassai tér.

 

The programme will reprise the main work from the choir’s inaugural concert in 2005, Herbert Howells’s deeply moving Requiem, and pair it with a major new piece in the choir’s repertoire, the rarely performed Organ Mass by the Hungarian composer László Lajtha.
