Szent István Bazilika

The largest church in Budapest, consecrated in 1905, and subjected over the last few years to an extensive programme of restoration, both internally and externally. It contains many interesting paintings and statues, a fine organ, and also houses what is believed to be the mummified right hand of King Saint Stephen, the founder of the Hungarian State a thousand years ago. www.basilica.hu
